The Greek community provides opportunities for the development of academic abilities, civic involvement, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships. The vision for a successful Greek community at the University of Minnesota involves collaboration, commitment, and communication to achieve the high ideals and standards in the development of students.

Through the Office for Fraternity and Sorority Life, the University of Minnesota provides a full-time staff to counsel, mentor and support fraternities and sororities on our campus.

Mission Statement:
The Minnesota Greek Alumni Partnership is a group of interested alumni, students and community members who support the Greek community at the University of Minnesota . Our mission is to serve as advocates for undergraduate chapters of fraternities and sororities to University administration and the larger community; enhance the academic and social mission of fraternities and sororities at the University of Minnesota; provide personal and professional networking opportunities for members; increase the interaction and involvement of Greek alumni with undergraduate chapters and the University of Minnesota; foster open communication between all parties whose decisions impact the Greek community at the University of Minnesota; create social opportunities that complement those already offered by chapter alumni groups and the University of Minnesota; and provide a forum for members to share knowledge to make sound decisions in the best interest of the Greek community. In accomplishing our mission, all members pledge to work in the best interest of the entire Greek community.
